Led by the hero, Charles Deslondes, the enslaved Africans attempted to establish a second, independent, Black republic; with its own sovereign state similar to Haiti by capturing the city of New Orleans. The tour acquaints you with the targets the enslaved sought to capture in the French Quarter.
